AArRrRRrrGGGggg Matey...

For those of you that haven't been to Pirate Island Pizza...you NEED to go. It was so much fun and the food was pretty good. We had the spicy chicken and blue cheese pizza. I really liked it and I think Nate did too. The Kiddos had a blast of course because there is an Arcade and a little play place. The atmosphere is amazing...when you walk in the door it reminded me of the Pirates of the Caribbean at Disney Land. Our server was very patient with us and very nice. We had a great night and look forward to going back.

What an Eventful Weekend...

Man...it has been CRAZY around here. I feel so bad for my Brother and Sister in Law. They had their home broken into and robbed on Friday. Thank our Sweet Lord...they caught the 2 boys that did it and my Brother and Sister in Law were able to get most of their stuff back, but what a horrible thing to have to go through...especially right before Christmas! On top of this...we all usually get together and go around to see each other's trees. Well, we had it planned for Sunday evening, but my Mother in Law had to work, the thing with Meg and Josh's house and a couple of other things so we all thought it was canceled. We ended up meeting at my Mother and Father in Laws place for dinner and decided we were going to go ahead with it even though we were missing a few of us...We ate dinner and the kids were in playing in Papa's office when my Nephew started crying. My Brother in Law went in to check on him and OMGosh...he had an allergic reaction to cashews. It was awful to see my Nephew like that. They ended up taking him to the ER. So...like I said...what an eventful weekend. I'm happy to report Ethan is fine...when he got home from the ER we were all at his house waiting for him and the first thing he asked for was a donut. He is too cute!

E E...we are so glad you are OK and we love ya dude!

I did managed to get a few pictures...This is my Brother and Sister in Law's (Shane and Carrie) tree...it is so pretty.

Here's a picture of our tree:

and I wish I would of thought to take a picture of Josh and Meg's tree because it was so cute!

Madagascar 2 was Crack-a-Lackin...

I took Reagan to see Madagascar 2. It was really cute and she loved it of course. I just love that she sits through the whole movie and I have a new movie partner...even if it is just animated movies. Anyone who knows me very well, knows I LOVE the movies!

Reagan thought it was so fun to wear our PJ's to the movies. It was snowy and all wet so I thought...what the heck, lets go in our PJ's. We had lots of fun!
Regs...Mommy loves hangin with ya!

Playin in the Snow...

Look at these cute girls...they woke up this morning to a whole lot of snow! Kenners wasn't to impressed with it, but Regs had a BLAST!!!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas...

Look at how pretty our little house looks...all decorated with snow...I love it!!!
"Big Red" is going to struggle when Nate goes to start him up today...lol!
I am absolutely LOVING this weather. I love the snow...it's beautiful!!! Check these pictures out...I couldn't believe how much stuck to the ground. Can you tell I'm from Vegas...and I've not seen much snow in my life...lol. We took these couple of pictures last night. The pictures at the top are from this morning.

Dad (William N. Hilderscheid, Billy) Thinking about you at Christmas time...

Around the Christmas table
there's an empty chair this year...
The precious smile is missing
of someone we still hold dear.

And yet our hearts are hopeful,
though the season's bittersweet,
Because we know the one we love
has filled another seat.

For another banquet table
abounds with joy and love
For those who've made the journey
to be with our Lord above.

* These Pictures were taken on Christmas Eve 2005.

This season, may you celebrate the Faith that is the heart of Christmas, the Hope that lies ahead in Heaven, and the Love of those we hold in our arms and in our memories.

Much Love,
The Traveller Family
Nate, Alisha, Matt, Reagan and Kennedy

Reagan Sneakin' Snacks...

The other night Nate and got the kids in bed...he went to study and I was watching the TV. I heard Reagan come out on quietly open the pantry door and quietly grab something then quietly go running down the hall. I waited a few minutes...then I heard the crumble of a bag so I grabbed the camera and headed down the hall to find her eating chips in her bed. This is a BIG no no in our house and my kids know it. We don't leave the kitchen with food.

Look at her try to give me the look. She is such a little stinker sometimes. She told me, "Mommy...Reagan was hungry. Look mommy...I don't have crumbs in my bed." She knew what I was going to say. She was real quick to take the chips out to the counter of course. I just laughed and Nate just said, "How do you like dealing with yourself?" He swears she just like me, but I don't believe it for one minute...lol.

Reg's...Mommy loves you tons!

Kennedy's Love for Shoes...

Every time we turn around this girl has Mommy's or Reagan's shoes on. I don't know what it is with my girls, but so far both have them have just loved shoes. Reagan use to sleep with a pair of her shoes on and the rest of them in her crib with her. I wished I would of taken some pictures of it because there were nights when she had a pile in the corner of her crib. I thought it was the weirdest thing ever. Then Kennedy has started this shoe fetish. What can I say...Girl's after mine own heart...lol!

Our Big Girl Moved to a Booster...

Where does the time go? I know I say this all the time, but I just don't know what is going on around me. I guess I better start enjoying every minute because it just keeps passin by. One minute Kennedy is in a highchair and the next she is in the booster wanting to sit next to all of us. My baby just isn't a baby anymore.

Kennedy...we love you "Big Girl"!!!

Kenner's First Sickness...

Kennedy has been coming down with something for 2 weeks now and it finally hit the hardest Monday night. This is the first time she has been sick so I can't complain to much, but the poor girl couldn't breath through her nose. Let me tell ya...when my girls can't breath through their noses, it's not a good night in the Traveller house because they both suck their fingers. Kennedy wouldn't sleep at all so Nate and I took shifts on Tuesday night. I think from no sleep for nearly 24 hours she finally crashed when it was my turn to sit with her and Nate took these pictures of us.
I tried to get up and do some dishes, but she would follow me and just ball...it was really sad. She just laid down on the floor behind me and fell asleep on the tile. We kept taking pictures of Kennedy so Reg's wanted her picture taken too.

I sure hope we are almost over this mess...Reg's is just starting to get the fever.

Mom and Regger's Date...

I decided to take Reg's on a date today. We went to see the movie Bolt. I thought it was really good, but take it for what it's worth because I love all of the Disney movies! Reagan loved it...she keeps telling everyone, "I go to the show to see Bolk and Mitten's." She thought it was the coolest thing to be at the "Show" eating popcorn. She sat really good and watched the whole thing. When it was over and we were getting up to leave she started to cry...I asked her what was the matter and she said, "I want to watch it again. I no want to go home!" So I guess our date was a success and we'll have to do it again real soon! I'm so excited...I have a new movie partner ;) My husband won't go and I just love to go to the movies!!!

Reg's...Mommy had a fun time with you!

Snack of Choice...

Kennedy LOVES Cheetos!!! I was cleaning up and came out to find her walking around the house with a bag of Cheetos. Mind you the bag was bigger than her. I wanted to kick Nathan's bum because he knows the rule...NO FOOD OUT OF THE KITCHEN!!! Why is it only Mom enforces the rule? It's no wonder why my kids like him better than me...lol.

Santa Baby...

I took the girls to see Santa at the Dickens Festival, but I didn't get their pictures taken because Kennedy wouldn't let me go. I knew we would be seeing him again at George Washington Academy so I thought I would get their pictures then...Well, Kennedy has been sick so I wasn't able to take her with us. Reg's and I headed of to see him and when we got there the line was out the door. We stood in line for 55 minutes and it was so worth it. Reg's was so excited to see him. She asked him for a BIG Tinkerbell dolly. I sure hope he can find her one ;)
I hope EVERYONE has a Merry Christmas!

Our Fun Filled Day...

We started the day off with a ward Christmas breakfast. It was tons of fun, but I'm bummed I didn't take my camera. I hope one of the sister's will email me some pictures. We met some more people in our ward...that's always nice. We just kind of hide out in the back, but we must not have been doing a very good job because I did get called to the Nursery...lol. Actually I look forward to a new calling. I have never served in the Nursery and I think it will help Kennedy anyway. She gets to go in with me as Reagan goes out to be a Sunbeam.
After our ward breakfast we headed over to Russel and Rae Ann's Wedding. It was really pretty. I am excited for the both of them and wish them nothing but great happiness.
Then off to Tayler's Baptism...what an exciting time in a little person's life. My sister in law had a dinner after his baptism where we got to mingle with family and friends...it was really nice to catch up and just see everyone. I sure wished I would of brought my camera for this fun filled day. I didn't take it to any of the events.
After the Baptism...I had the opportunity to see Alexis (my Niece) perform in her Christmas Show. I am impressed with the talent and the Dance Studio. She did an amazing job. I just wished we could convince Reagan to go poop in the potty so she could start dance.
What a busy day, but tons of fun.

Mom's Day Out...

I decided I needed a day by myself...man it is nice to do this sometimes ;). Anyway...Nate kept the girls and I went over to Santa's Workshop and did a little Christmas shopping. When I got home Reg's came running to me tellling me all about "Kenneny go sleep on the floor by her bed!" I looked at Nate kind of puzzled so he told me to look at the camera. This is what I found...
Nate said he was watching football and realized he hadn't heard much of the baby so he'd better go check on her...(DUH!) He said he walked back to her room and she was asleep. She had been trying to get her "lanky" through the bars of the crib and couldn't get it so she just laid down as close as she could and went to sleep. Isn't she just sweet ;)

Gettin' Out of the House...

Well, it is Friday after Thanksgiving and Nate was a little stir crazy so we decided to venture out for a little while. As we were getting the car all packed up to leave the girls were playing in the garage. I forget Reagan knows how to open all of the car doors and she thinks this is so cool. When Nate and I came out Kennedy was in the car just hangin out...lol while Reagan was ridding her bike around and around the car.

We went over to Santa's Workshop (we walked in and right back out)...there was noway we were going to make it up and down the isles with the double stroller. It was packed...what were we thinking going out on Black Friday. We headed over to the mall and walked around for a minute...I have never seen our mall that packed in the 5 years I have lived here. We stayed out and about all day long and the kids were pretty good considering how crazy it was. Nate suggested we go see if Marv's was busy. When we got there we noticed this new pizza place (Pirate Island Pizza). Nate went to check it out and said I needed to come in and see it. I got the baby and we all went in...it is soooo AWESOME!!!! The wait was 2 1/2 hours so we didn't stay, but the place is totally cool. Needless to say we ate at Marv's. After dinner the kids were beyond tired. Nate's ritual is to stop at Dairy Queen when the baby is crying because he knows he won't hear another peep out of her the rest of the way home. We had a great day as a family...we just needed our Matty Mo with us and it would of been complete.

Thanksgiving Dinner...

We alternate family's every year and this year was the year where all the kids go to the in-laws. My mom doesn't USUALLY do anything, but this year she called us the day before and told us she was making a big dinner. I was pretty bummed and really wanted to go, but we already had plans with Nate's family so we hung around here. Plus I didn't think Nate would want to go down...he's pretty burned out with school and work so we had dinner with Nate's Mom, Dad, his Great Aunt, Uncle, one of their son's and his kids. It was nice fast and quiet this year. Here are just a couple of pictures I took throughout the day...

I did have a minute to reflect on all of the things I am Thankful for and the list is long...

Nate and I have learned so much these last 3 years. I know we will continue to learn things throughout our lives, but it has been a HUGE eye opener in so many ways. From the economy to family and friends etc...

I am Thankful most of all for the Gospel in my life because without it...I don't know where I would be right now. I am so Thankful for my Husband and his patients. For his will to want better for his family. For never giving up and ALWAYS pushing forward. For his Great example in my family's lives. I am Thankful for my kids...they keep me grounded. I am Thankful for my mistakes...without them I would not grow. I am Thankful for TRUE friends and family. I am especially Thankful for Nate's family. They have been a GREAT example in mine and my children's lives. I am Thankful for my beautiful life...for all of it's trials and pleasures.

I hope all of you have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Missing My Dad (William N. Hilderscheid, Billy) at Thanksgiving...

Just a Memory Away
I'm no longer by your side,
but there's no need to weep;
I've left sweet recollections
I'm hoping you will keep.
Eternal joy and memories
stay in our hearts forever,
Strengthening our special bond
that parting cannot sever.
Now it's time to journey on,
so let your faith be strong,
For I am in a better place...
I'm home where I belong.
And if times of loneliness
bring sorrow and dismay,
Don't despair, for I am there...
Just a Memory Away

This Thanksgiving was our first without my Dad calling and giving us an update on all of the places he had been working. Along with all the other things that he did to keep busy. I MISS him so very much!!! Just when I thought I was doing OK and I know he is in a better place...the Holidays came. For a while after he passed there were times when I would pick up the phone to call him and then I would remember...he won't be there to pick it up. I had finally stopped doing that until today. Several times today, I would think...I need to call him because he hasn't called us yet. I am Thankful for God's plan...to know that I will see him again.
Dad, I Love You...and Happy Thanksgiving!

Rae Ann's Bridal Shower...

This is Rae Ann (Nate's Cousin). She is getting married December 6 and we are excited for her. My mother in law threw her a Bridal shower and I decided to take Reagan to the "Girl Party". She thought that was the coolest thing ever. Good Luck Rae Ann...We love you!

Daddy's Little Princesses...

I was putting laundry away when I hear clip clop down the hall way...lol. Sure enough Nate was back in the girl's rooms helpin them get all dressed up as Cinderella and Belle. When they were done they came to show mommy. Too cute and tons of fun. Our daddy is a fun dude!

"Mom...We Playin Dress Up"...

Reg's just loves to play dress up. Kenner's just loves to see her sister all dressed up, but she wants in on the fun as well. The other day it was really quiet and then I could hear Kennedy getting upset and irratated. Of course I thought Reagan was buggin her, so I walk back and she was getting mad because she couldn't get the shoes on her little chubby feet...lol.

I keep sayin this, but Nate has no idea what he's in for...Heck I don't know what I'm in for...lol! Look as these two little Princesses.

"First to Bite"...12:01 am Baby!

OK I don't know if I'm the only one that feels this way, but could the movie have been any cheesier? I am a little more disappointed than I'd hoped to be! Of course this is only my opinion and it doesn't make me not like Twilight anymore...I'm just bummed it wasn't a little better than it was. Don't get me wrong there were a couple of parts that were good. I have yet to read a Harry Potter book, but I have seen all of the movies and to me they are awesome movies and I've heard that they are pretty comparable to the books. Twilight was unbelievably CHEAP! I don't know, but to me the movie just didn't flow...it all just happened so fast. There was no easing into it for me. One minute she knows nobody and the next she is proclaiming her love for Edward. I sure hope they put a little more effort into the next couple and spend a little more money, but enough totally rippin on the movie...I have the books and that to me is AWESOME!!!
Besides the movie bombing we had an AWESOME night, Kudos to Random. It was a lot of fun hangin with the Girls in the freezing cold...lol. Kaysha (sp?. My girlfriends daughter) and I hung out and walked through all of the booths before all of the other girls got there! Yes I was one of the freaks there at 4:00 pm, but at least I wasn't there at 9 am...lol! We ate Marv's for dinner (that alone was worth standin in the cold...lol). I even made a scrapbook layout (Twilight theme of course).

They even had the scents of the Characters from the book...it was pretty neat and the scents were amazing. All in all is was a fun night with just the Girls!Let me tell ya...I was so ready for bed...lol! When I woke up this morning I felt so delirious. I haven't been to bed that late in a VERY long time.

"Twilight" tonight...

Well, today is the big day...I'm goin to "Twilight" tonight! I am beyond excited and didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night because all I could think about was today...lol! Kind of sounds like a kid on Christmas Eve. I can already tell you I'm not expecting too much from the movie because I have seen so many trailers. I feel like I've seen half of the movie and to be honest with you...it looks pretty corny, but I'm still excited. Random put together a bunch of vendors in the parking lot and they are doing drawings...it will just be lots of fun to hang with the girlfriends! Tell ya all about it tomorrow!

Up and At'em...

We were actually Up and At'em early this morning. Usually we are rushing around here on the mornings of preschool. We didn't know what to do with all of our free time so we decided to play with the camera. I can blame the excitement for tonight on being up and at'em this morning...lol. These girls are just waaaayyyy to much fun. There is never a dull moment in the Traveller home because they keep us on our toes. Just look at their little faces...they say it all...lol!

Reagan says the funniest things and she does even crazier things...lol. She is a pure joy to be around (most of the time anyway...lol). I can't believe she is going to be 4 in March already. Where does the time go?! Her dad has lots to worry about with this girl, but for those of you that know Nate...he doesn't worry about ANYTHING. I guess that's how we make it through most of our endeavors...it's his calm demeanor. I love my husband and my awesome little family! I thank my Father in Heaven everyday for being so blessed!

Kennedy is the sweetest little thing. I know in this picture you can't tell, but I promise you she really is. She is growing up so fast. It makes me sad some days and wish I could freeze her in time, but I know this is all just part of being here. She is at the copy phase. I just love it when she tries to do what your doing or when she tries to repeat what you've said...it is really funny. Just today she pointed at her cup and said, "Juice." I was so excited! I am one pf those people that can't wait until they can talk until they actually do. I will be wishing she wasn't talking before I know it...lol. I am a talker and let me tell you 2 out of the 3 so far have picked up the trait...lol!

Potty Training....HELP!!!

I don't know what to do anymore. We have tried everything. Reagan will be 4 in March and we have been potty trained a couple of different times so we thought. I don't know if she is just lazy or if it is something we are doing wrong. I'm to the point where I will pay someone to do this for me. I need some advice....GOOD advice. We've done the insentive thing. We have even tried cold showers and that is just child abuse...no joke, it was awful. I really don't know what to do because nothing phases her. I've tried taking things or even making her clean herself up. She will just poop her panty's then dump the poop in the toilet and clean her panty's in the toilet like no big deal....now that is just to much for me. What do I do? HELP!!!

"Daddy, I go work wif you?"...

Daddy came home for lunch and while he was getting his lunch ready Reagan decided to put all is "Garb" on. When she was all done she came to us and said, "Daddy, I go to work wif you...Please?!" These girls just love their Daddy!

Daddy Rocks...

Nate was teachin' little miss Reg's how to petal her "Big Girl" bike, so of course little one wants to ride too...lol! I tell you Nate has the patients of a saint...they were out there for a good few hours ridding around the drive way. The girl's were in Heaven!
Daddy...We Love You!!!

Happy Halloween...

This has been a very busy month for us. I have so much to post...a couple of Sunday's ago Gram and Papa had everyone over for dinner. Gram wanted pictures of the all the grand kids in their costumes so she could fill her Halloween picture frames and my Niece Alexis wanted to make this cute pumpkin cake we saw on the back of a box, so here are the pictures from that day...

Then Reg's had a Preschool Halloween party and she got to wear her costume again. She was so excited because I colored her hair Red ;).

She had such a fun time...all she can talk about is getting candy.

My girl friend Yesi brought cup cakes over this morning...man they were excellent! Reg's had one for breakfast...mmmm that's how we start our Halloween day...lol!

This is Reg's first year doing the Trick or Treat thing. I have been prolonging it as long as I could. Nate and I figured this year would be fun to walk her around to a couple of doors...we went to our neighbor's across the street, Auntie Carrie's and Papa's house...lol. I guess it will be more fun next year. She just wasn't real interested so I didn't push the issue. Kennedy on the other hand was perfectly content eating all of papa's candy. She's mommy's little sugar bug. I thought for sure we would have one of them sick, but they came home, got in the bath and went straight to bed. We had a Happy Halloween, but we missed our Matty...I sure hope he had a good time!

Here's our Trick or Treater's...Strawberry Shortcake and Custard Kitty

This is Matty and his Best Friend Caleb. Claire (Caleb's Mom) was so nice to send me this picture for my blog. Thanks again Claire!
