What an Eventful Weekend...

Man...it has been CRAZY around here. I feel so bad for my Brother and Sister in Law. They had their home broken into and robbed on Friday. Thank our Sweet Lord...they caught the 2 boys that did it and my Brother and Sister in Law were able to get most of their stuff back, but what a horrible thing to have to go through...especially right before Christmas! On top of this...we all usually get together and go around to see each other's trees. Well, we had it planned for Sunday evening, but my Mother in Law had to work, the thing with Meg and Josh's house and a couple of other things so we all thought it was canceled. We ended up meeting at my Mother and Father in Laws place for dinner and decided we were going to go ahead with it even though we were missing a few of us...We ate dinner and the kids were in playing in Papa's office when my Nephew started crying. My Brother in Law went in to check on him and OMGosh...he had an allergic reaction to cashews. It was awful to see my Nephew like that. They ended up taking him to the ER. So...like I said...what an eventful weekend. I'm happy to report Ethan is fine...when he got home from the ER we were all at his house waiting for him and the first thing he asked for was a donut. He is too cute!

E E...we are so glad you are OK and we love ya dude!

I did managed to get a few pictures...This is my Brother and Sister in Law's (Shane and Carrie) tree...it is so pretty.

Here's a picture of our tree:

and I wish I would of thought to take a picture of Josh and Meg's tree because it was so cute!

"Big Red" is going to struggle when Nate goes to start him up today...lol!
I am absolutely LOVING this weather. I love the snow...it's beautiful!!! Check these pictures out...I couldn't believe how much stuck to the ground. Can you tell I'm from Vegas...and I've not seen much snow in my life...lol. We took these couple of pictures last night. The pictures at the top are from this morning.

Santa Baby...

I took the girls to see Santa at the Dickens Festival, but I didn't get their pictures taken because Kennedy wouldn't let me go. I knew we would be seeing him again at George Washington Academy so I thought I would get their pictures then...Well, Kennedy has been sick so I wasn't able to take her with us. Reg's and I headed of to see him and when we got there the line was out the door. We stood in line for 55 minutes and it was so worth it. Reg's was so excited to see him. She asked him for a BIG Tinkerbell dolly. I sure hope he can find her one ;)
I hope EVERYONE has a Merry Christmas!

One of our Family Traditions.....

One of our family traditions at Christmas time are to go to eachother's homes to see how we have all decorated. In the past we would do a pergresive dinner (where we would eat and appitizer at the first persons house, a salad or whatever the theme is for the year at the next persons house, the main course at the next persons house and then dessert at the next persons house). This year was "Hermy" and "Lou Lou's" first Christmas married and their first year to contribute. So my Mother in law figured since there was 5 Sundays in December we would each host a Sunday. I was first and I just made a dinner and dessert and we watched some football of course. Meggy was second and she made dinner and had donuts for dessert and we talked about the family we were going to help out this year for Christmas. Before we left the Beecher's home "Hermy" gave all the kids these little papers. He told them to read them and then give them to their parents. When we read them they basically said "get ready for tons of fun and bring some mittens." We were all kind of like what do they have up there sleeves. Mind you all of the kids just love them because they are just the funnest to be with. So their Sunday they had all kinds of finger foods and desserts. They had planned all kinds of games it was so much fun. The reason the kids needed mittens was they had wrapped little gifts in tons of boxes and they had to race to open them with the mittens on. It was so fun. The kids just loved it. Regs just loves her little babies. The 4th Sunday was Carrie's and she served some really yummy cinnamon rolls. Then the last Sunday my in-laws served prime rib dinner. It is really a great family tradition I hope we do for many more years.

Reagan was so patient. She just said "Daddy hep me." It was so much fun to watch the kids.

It's finally over. She looked over at me and said "Look Mommy, I got babies. I got babies Mom!"

Thank you "Hermy" and "Lou-Lou"!!!!

Matthew came to have Thanksgiving with us. Nate and I had decided to have a chat with Santa about celebrating Christmas a little early with Matty because we new he wouldn't be here for Christmas Day. So the last night he was going to be staying with us we had Santa come and deliver some presents for him. He left one for Reagan and Kennedy so they wouldn't feel left out. It was a big shock to the kids and alot of fun. Hopefully Matty enjoyed it. "We love you Buddy!"
