OMGosh...

Ok all I can say is I am so late in the loop here. All I have heard about for months now are these Twilight books....I thought to myself, "I'm not reading them they sound so dumb." First of all I am not a reader...I know very sad, but I'm just not. Then I thought, "Vampires...Ughhh!" Anyways I went to Bunco on Wednesday night and I am always one of the last to leave so I can chat a little with whoever is there. Jessica walked us through her closet in her room because she just had classy closets come in. As we were walking out someone noticed her book collection on her bedside table....they got talking about this book series. I piped up and said, "I have heard lots about them, but I'm not a reader." She throws me the first book and says get started you can borrow the second book next month at bunco. I was like, "I'm telling you I'm not going to read this book, I'm not a reader." Anyway I took the book and as I walked in the door I showed it to Nate....He just laughed because I debated on trying to read them. We had heard so much about them. I get all ready for bed and thought I would give it a try...I mean it was only 10:00 pm. Next thing I knew it was 1:30 am. I would of continued, but I was so tired. I woke up the next morning and I just wanted to get started, but I knew I had to get my girls ready and take Regs to preschool. We ran some errands and then went to pick Regs up from preschool. We got home...I put the little one down for nap and got Reagan situated and I began...lol. The next thing I new Kennedy was waking up from her nap and I needed to make dinner. I got her situated once agian and thought I'll read a little bit then get dinner ready...oh course didn't work out like I thought...Nate walked in just laughing...I hurried and put the book down and started dinner......I couldn't wait until dinner was done and cleaned up so I could read some more. I bathed the girls and got them into their beds and.....YES....I started reading again. Needless to say I finished the book in a 24 hour period.....that is saying alot for me, but now I can't wait until next months bunco so I'm going to buy the second book today.

Can I just say OMGosh like a million times...am I totally a retard or what....I love this book!

Matt's First Day of 6th Grade...

This is a picture of Matt and his really good friend Caleb. I saw this picture on Caleb's Mom's blog and asked her if she would email it to me so I could post something about my Matty's first day of 6th grade. When I saw the picture yesterday on her blog...I got really emotional and realized all the first things I have been missing while he has been living with his dad. Like I have said in many other postings...I just want him back with me. I am so excited for him to start 6th grade. He called me Monday night all excited about how they have several different teachers and a locker...lol. I remember being excited to have a locker. He is just turning into a young man before my eyes and really considering all he has been through....he is a good kid. Matt...We LOVE you and miss you very much Buddie!!! And thanks so much for the picture Claire!!!

My Weekend Away...

Well, I am so bad I didn't even take any pictures this weekend. I told Nathan we need to get a smaller camera for vacations because my camera is so big that it couldn't fit in my purse. I did get some pictures of her mom's new puppy, "Dusty" he is the cutest little thing.

Anyway I had a good time. I went down for my girl friends 10 year high school reunion. While I was down for that...it was my son's Step Mom's baby shower. She looks totally adorable and is due in a couple of weeks from now. I got to meet some of her family that I hear about all the time. It's nice to be able to put a face with the names now. Kayla, which is Matt's cousin, whom I've known now for 7 years or longer....greeted me and my word how much she has blossomed into a beautiful woman...it kind of made me feel a little bit like an old lady. Jennifer's Mother was very kind and very inviting...she made me feel very welcomed. I am happy to know that Matthew is loved by so many people. It was nice to spend some more time with my Matty Mo, but it is getting harder and harder to say good bye to him. I just want him back home now, but I know he'll be back before I know it.
All in all I had a good little get away. I missed my girls more than I thought I would and of course my Husband as well. I guess it's Nate's turn now.

Reg's First Day of Preschool...

I never thought this day would come so fast....where did the time go. My little Reagan is old enough for preschool. I am so excited for her to meet some new friends and be at this preschool. I have heared such great things about Miss Julie and Gramma Smith. Reagan has been so excited to go to school for the past couple of weeks....thats all we talk about around here so when it finally came she was so ready. I took some pictures of her before we left and then when I picked her up...

I think she had a good time...I asked her if she met some new friends and she told me "MmmHmm...I play with the kids." I asked her what there names were and she told me "Boy and Girl." She is just too much sometimes. Regs we are so excited for you. You are just getting so big. We love you tons!

Kennedy's Love for Popsicles...

Ok...anytime you pull the freezer door open Kennedy knows your getting a Popsicle or at least she thinks you are. She starts yelling immediately. She LOVES Popsicles. It is the funniest thing ever...all the noises she makes and she'll even do a little dance for ya. Reagan was having a Popsicle a couple of Sundays ago and we caught her sharing with her sister. Everyone knows you better share or you'll get the WRATH of Kennedy and nobody wants that....lol! We sure appreciate everyone sharing with her....

Mommy's Cuddlebug...

This is Mommy's little cuddle bug! She has been sick for about a week now and she is still the happiest little thing! I can't believe she is so big already. It seems like we just had her. Anyways...she has been walking since August 1 and let me tell you she is quick. I was packing this morning for my girls weekend and she was trying to help me...I turned around to fast and knocked her into the suitcase. Reagan and I started laughing and Kennedy started to pucker then she just started laughing too. I wished I could of got a picture of her laying in my suitcase it was the cutest thing.
I am just realizing I am going to miss my little family while I am gone. I have never left the girls with their dad for a whole weekend.
Well, I guess I'm off. So I'll blog about my little weekend when I get back.

Matt's a Winner...

All summer while Matthew was here...we would rent movies just about every Tuesday. The woman at the video store would recognize us because the first time we were in there Kennedy threw up on one of the DVD cases. They had this drawing you could enter if you purchased some combination of things so Matty entered. A couple of weeks later we got a call and this is what he won. It sure made his day! I still think the woman rigged it for him, but she swearers she didn't.

Matt's Gift to Reg's...

Matt was hanging out with his good buddies (Mitch and Cooper). Well, when they brought him home he walked in the house with a fish bowl and
a couple of fish. Of course I was just walking Reagan back to her room to go to bed and she took one look at those fish and there was no way she was going to go to bed. She was so excited to see them...as a matter of fact her exact words were "Oh Crap mom...Matt got fishie!" Thank you Matt for teaching her that one...lol. She has named them Fergie and Guss. I already want to get rid of them, but I am stuck with them now. Thank you brother!

Matty's 11th Birthday...

My Matty turned 11 on the 5th of August. We have had one heck of a summer. He has been here since the second week of June...it has been so much fun to have him. We sure wanted him to stay, but it didn't work out that way so back to Vegas he goes until next year. We had a little celebration for him, but it was only myself and the girls because Nate is working out of town and the rest of the family was in SLC for a family reunion. Matty hope you had a good summer and some what of a good Birthday with us (under the circumstances). WE love you tons buddy!!!

Thank you...

My girl friend Brandy sent me these beautiful flowers.....Thank you lady!

I just wanted to thank all of you that have sent flowers or cards or called me or even came by to talk to me. I appreciate all of your concerns and your acts of kindness. I know this takes time, but words can't explain how I feel. One minute I'm OK and the next I'm either mad, laughing, or confused etc... If I don't answer the phone or the door...I am OK I just need some time to get my family back in order. I truly appreciate everyone and I just wanted to exclaim that.
For those of you that don't know what's going on...My dad went home to our Father in Heaven on August 1. It was unexpected and very quick. He is the first person that I have ever had pass away that I have been so close to.
I have also been dealing with some other things and I just can't process it all. I feel totally out of control at times. I am trying to just take it one day at a time. I know everything will work out.
Like I said before...just give me some time and I will return your calls or emails or write you back. Thanks again!

Love always,
Alisha & Family

Dear Dad (William N. Hilderscheid, Billy)...

Note: Press the pause button on our music before you push play on this video. Our music is on the side bar towards the top of the page.

Dad I know we had a crazy home life, but it was what it was. I am just so happy that I had a chance to build a better and healthier relationship with you these last couple of years. I have so many regrets, but I know you loved me and you were proud of me because you told me. Dad...you are the only one I needed to hear that from. I wished you could of got to know my kids more then you did. I wished you could of got to know Nate better then you did. I wished I would have spent more time with you. When I look back on my child hood I know you taught me everything I know....your OCD rubbed off on me...my husband probably doesn't thank you for that. I have all of your corky habits...like how you did the laundry and how you vacuumed and dusted. I still turn the water off between shampooing and face washing etc... I look at our pictures and my heart just hurts because I just didn't have enough time with you. I Love You with my WHOLE Heart!!! I am so amazed at all the things you saw and you did in your life time. You accomplished much more then I ever comprehended. I can now tell you I am so very Proud of you Dad!
I miss you so much,
Alisha
