Happy Halloween...

This has been a very busy month for us. I have so much to post...a couple of Sunday's ago Gram and Papa had everyone over for dinner. Gram wanted pictures of the all the grand kids in their costumes so she could fill her Halloween picture frames and my Niece Alexis wanted to make this cute pumpkin cake we saw on the back of a box, so here are the pictures from that day...

Then Reg's had a Preschool Halloween party and she got to wear her costume again. She was so excited because I colored her hair Red ;).

She had such a fun time...all she can talk about is getting candy.


My girl friend Yesi brought cup cakes over this morning...man they were excellent! Reg's had one for breakfast...mmmm that's how we start our Halloween day...lol!

This is Reg's first year doing the Trick or Treat thing. I have been prolonging it as long as I could. Nate and I figured this year would be fun to walk her around to a couple of doors...we went to our neighbor's across the street, Auntie Carrie's and Papa's house...lol. I guess it will be more fun next year. She just wasn't real interested so I didn't push the issue. Kennedy on the other hand was perfectly content eating all of papa's candy. She's mommy's little sugar bug. I thought for sure we would have one of them sick, but they came home, got in the bath and went straight to bed. We had a Happy Halloween, but we missed our Matty...I sure hope he had a good time!

Coloring Contest...

I would have to say I am very impressed with my Daughter's coloring abilities! Maybe I just don't remember being able to color so well at 3...who knows, but I just thought she was doing such a good job and I don't think the people at the bank are going to believe she colored this all by herself.

High School Musical 3 & Baby Kendall...

Well, I know Matty is a big fan of High School Musical and so I saw a great opportunity to go down and visit him. I planned last month to take him to see the movie opening weekend, but I never knew it was going to be such a challenge. We almost didn't make it due to all of us being sick, but we went anyway and I got to hold little Kendall. She is a little doll...I wished I could have held her some more, but the last thing Jen needs is a sick baby. Oh, but she is adorable and cuddly!! We tell Reg's about Matt's baby sister all the time so when we saw her she kept saying, "Mommy...look it's Regan's baby sisser!" Kids are to cute sometimes. I decided to take Reg's to the movie with us and she had an absolute ball. She danced the entire time and as she says, ate "Pock Corn"...lol! Matty looks so good...I just wanted to scoop him up and take him home with me, but in due time! It was a nice little visit, but way too short.

The movie was really cute (if you are a High School Musical Fan)!

Spider in My Bed...

Can I just say I didn't sleep so well last night!!! I absolutely HATE any kind of bug...especially SPIDERS!!! As we were getting into bed last night this is what I saw....YUK YUK YUK!!! Nate just thinks this is the funniest thing ever. He just teased me all night. Right after I am done posting this I am calling Pest Defense...lol!

Our Seattle Trip...

Nate and I went to Seattle this past weekend for my cousin Tom's wedding. It was really exciting to see all of my mom's side of the family. I haven't seen them for at least 15 + years. It was a great turn out...they all showed up, even cousins and my great uncle Kenny! It was nice to talk to him and find out things about my mom's distant family because growing up my mom didn't talk about any of her family. I wished we could of taken the kids with us and stayed a little longer, but we are planning a family reunion next July.

Anyway we stayed with my Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Brice. She had a full house. Everyone ended up staying with her so she put Nate and I in her cute little trailer so we would have some privacy. It was so comfortable and too cute...

Let me tell ya it was one eventful weekend...we really had a good time! They sure know how to party...lol. I'm glad I worned Nate before we ever even left, but to be honest they were all well behaved...lol. My cousin's kept pulling me out to dance and Nate was just hangin' out at the table. Then the DJ announced they were going to do a money dance so I went to sit with Nate, but I couldn't find him...this isn't unusual...I just figured he went to the bathroom or to walk around. Well, as I sat down and looked across at the dance floor there he was dancing with the Bride. I was shocked. I guess he figured since I hadn't introduced them yet he would introduce his self...lol. I mean I hadn't even met her yet...lol!

My Uncle Brice was taking pictures all night so when he finally got to sit down I guess he had enough. I caught him sleeping and decided to take a picture of him...lol

All in all we had a great weekend. I sure enjoyed spending some time with my Aunts & Uncles that I haven't seen in such a long time and of course I got to meet for the first time my cousin JJ and Uncle Wally...It was nice to put faces with these wonderful people that I have heard about for so many years. Like I said the weekend ended so fast and I just wish I would have had some more time with them. I look forward to a Family Reunion in July...I will do whatever it takes to make sure it happens...lol.

Also as we were headin' to baggage claim we ran into Bishop Ellis. He married Nate and I. It was so nice to run into him...he looks great! He was waiting for his wife with some flowers in his hand...such a SWEET man! I wished I would have got a picture of the 3 of us together, but maybe I'll run into him again.

I Got a Ticket (Yaaaayyy)...

So I was at my in-laws on Sunday and we got talkin' about the Twilight movie. Nate told everyone how I said that I would eat a bug just to get a ticket to see it...It was just a figure of speech mind you, but my sister-in-law Carrie said she had a friend that bought a ticket and cannot go now and she wanted to sell it. Uhhhh Helloooo...I jumped all over that and yes I did buy the ticket off of her in such a hurry that I realized that I am going all by myself...not like I really care, but it would be more fun with a girl friend. So if anyone is going and doesn't mind me taggin' along let me know!

I AM SOOO MAD!!!

I JUST FOUND OUT THAT THERE WAS A STORE IN TOWN (RANDOM) SELLING "TWILIGHT" TICKETS AND I DIDN'T HEAR ABOUT IT. I CALLED TODAY AND OF COURSE THEY ARE ALL SOLD OUT. YOU EVEN GOT A SHIRT. I AM SOOOO BUMMED!

MICHELLE (THE LADY WHO IS RENTING THE THEATER) TOLD ME THAT IF THE THEATER GETS ANOTHER MOVIE WHEEL AND SHE CAN GET ANOTHER 200 PEOPLE SHE WOULD RENT ANOTHER THEATER.

IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO ON A TWILIGHT SHOWING...PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME!!! I WANT TO GO SO BAD.
