This is a challenge in our family, but we are striving everyday to be better. It totally makes a huge difference. Our girls are so little and we use to say "Oh they don't understand whats going on, we'll do it when they are older." Well, Reagan is going to be 3 and believe it or not she learns a ton. It is something we all need to do even if you are a family of 2 (just you and your spouce). Hope this encourages all of you.

I love that quote! We are really trying to make an effort to do both. We've set a goal this year to read the Book of Mormon with the kids. We've set a goal and so far so good. Reading every night is impossible for us with everyone's schedule but we manage 4 times a week to do it. Someday when we are on the "other side" maybe we will be shown just how much family prayer and scripture study really helped us.
