Ok time to come clean....(APRIL FOOLS)!!!

APRIL FOOLS!!!

Now if any of you fell for that you are funny! I am not pregnant! It was a BIG FAT APRIL FOOLS!!! Just so you know I didn't come up with this joke by myself....yes that would mean Nathan helped me out!!! If I was I think I would really be sent to the "Looney Bin".......LOL!

Hope we got some of ya!

American Idol Dinner Party......

Nate and I took the girls over to my girl friend's (Yesi's) house for an AI (American Idol) get together. We were talking one day and realized how both of us and our husbands really enjoyed watching it so we decided to get together and have dinner and dessert. It was a lot of fun to get together and hang out over good food and a great show! I think we are going to try to do it at least twice a month. Anyways....David Cook was good tonight, but I was expecting some shock and awe! David Archleta was awesome tonight. He is another one of my favorites. When I am watching American Idol, I catch myself saying, "He's my favorite...no wait she's my favorite....no wait I like him too." They are all really good this year. Another performance I liked tonight was Michael Johns, but my vote is still with David Cook! He just Rocks!!!

News Flash.....(I don't know if we are ready for this)!!

I am up way to late, but I can't sleep! We found out some good, but not so good news last week....considering our baby is only 9 months old.

Well, we didn't know how else to tell everyone so this is how we are going to do it. I have been feeling weird for the last couple of months. I wasn't thinking anything of it because I had a IUD. I finally decided to take a home pregnancy test and it was positive. We didn't think anything of it because this had happened to us before with that dumb IUD. The IUD is suppose to be 99.9% effective. Well, I guess you know where I am going with all of this......YES I am that 1%! When we first found out we were in shock and a little upset. We aren't in the best financial position and we both decided we were done. I guess we'll just see what comes our way the end of October! I know babies are blessings and I am trying to look at this in a better light.....I just don't think I am ready for this. My Kenner's just got to a point where I can function like a normal person. I would also like to say...this time I am not so sick considering I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow. Just a little nauseated here and there.

OK I guess enough venting.....Now lets see how long the family takes to read this and talk to us about it! We decided we aren't telling anyone in person. We'll see if they read this or not!

I am talking about the next American Idol. Look him up....you can hear some of his stuff on itunes.com. I am not kidding....He is amazing! We have some of his music on our play list....click on "Day Tripper", thats just one of my favorites!

Our family got together at Gram and Papa's house for Easter dinner. My Nephew Ethan loves "baby Kenndey" as he says. He sat down next to her and she gave him some love. They were so cute...he is always so sweet with her! After dinner Gram let the kids dye some eggs. While they were dying the eggs my sister in law Meg hid some eggs in the front yard. After all the kids were done coloring the eggs we told them to get there baskets for an Easter egg hunt. I didn't think Reagan would really get what was going on. When we got out front she kept telling me, "Mommy eggs are in the grass!" She was so excited. I told her to pick them up and put them in her basket. She started running all over. It was a blast. The kids really enjoyed it, at least I think they did. After we were done with the egg hunt we went inside and had a little dessert. My other sister in law (Lauren) had made some peanut butter cookies shaped like bears. They were totally cute and they tasted great!

All in all I would have to say our Easter was full of fun. Every year just gets funner and funner with these little ones. I just can't wait til' next year when Kennedy is able to run around with all of the kids.

I MISS MY MATTY....

Well, today Matthew left after being here since last Saturday. Every time he leaves I am usually so busy that I don't even have time to think about it, but today after he left I sat here missing him more than I usually do. I realized I want him to come home so our family can move on already. I know he is happy with his Dad and Jen and like I have said as long as he is happy I am too. I just miss him and want the absolute best for him. I guess I am just having a moment...LOL! Whatever that may be?

We had a great visit...of course we had our moments. For some reason he loves to aggravate the crap out of me (he admitted he does it to annoy me on purpose...little turd). We went and saw "Horton Hears a Who"...it was really cute. Mostly I just enjoyed spending some time with him. He exercised with me every morning and I couldn't believe how he could hang with me...he did a great job. We ran all over town grocery shopping and just running errands. He was a trooper. We laughed constantly. While he was here he had another book report. He was reading a book about Christopher Columbus. He had it read in 3 days. Man I wish I loved to read as much as him. He just loves to read. Reagan is such a stinker...while he is here she doesn't want anything to do with him (most of the time anyway), but as soon as he left....she kept saying "Mommy where is Matt? Matt's all gone Mommy." I just kept telling her, "We'll see him soon." It rips your heart out trying to explain it to her. She just doesn't understand and as she gets older it is getting worse when he leaves.

Oh well, I am sure your sick of me rambling. I just Miss my son a ton.

Reg's Birthday Party...

Note: If you don't see the pictures, click the x in the corner.

We had a Blast!!! I had a friend & her kids come up from Las Vegas. I had not seen her since right after Nate and I got married. My Matty Mo came up with my Mother and all of the rest of the family was here as well. All the kids were so cute. I hope they all had a good time. I made chicken salad and we ate it on crossaints. I also had chips, cut up fruit that we dipped in fruit dip (marshmellow cream with strawberry cream cheese & also with raspberry cream cheese), and we just had water. Then last but certainly not least the cake....the cake was sooooo YUMMY!!! It was white with strawberry filling. Needless to say there were no leftovers. I had a friend of mine make it....I was going to try, but it just looked like to much work and she gave me a great deal on the price. The Balloons were so cool. The Tinkerbell balloon talked when you tapped it. Reg's loves it to death. I think she had a great time, but a little overwhelmed. She was most excited to dress up in the "Tinky Bell" dress and the shoes. Grammy found some Tinkerbell shoes at the Disney store in Vegas...I am affraid she will never want to ware anything else. She wanted to sleep in them that night.....it was like pulling teeth to get them off. She has wore them since Saturday.

After the Party my girl friend and her kids decided to spend the night. My neice and nephew stayed as well. We ordered pizza and watched The Bee Movie. Sunday we had Pancakes and hung out some more before everyone had to leave. We had a great time. I can't wait to do it again LOL!!!

Our St. Patty's Day Dinner with the Fam...

Note: If you don't see the pictures, click the x in the corner.

The Family all met at my in-laws for an early St. Patty's Day dinner. We had cornbeef, cabage, mashed potatoes and corn. It was pretty Yummy! My Father-in-law made some browinies (Man they were excellent!!). He found the recipe in a Taste of Home magazine, I believe. My Mother-in-law had a little quiz for all of us and we got cute little prizes (it was alot of fun). She is always doing a little something for all of us. She always makes it a fun time.

My sister-in-law (Lauren) made a whole bunch of sugar cookies shaped like bunnies, flowers, and eggs so we decided to let the kids decorate them. My mother-in-law got out her spring sprinkles and we colored some frosting. The kids loved it.

Our Park Adventure...

Note: If you don't see the pictures, click the x in the corner.

We decided to go to the park and have a picnic with our friend Sherrie and her kids. The park is only about 10 minutes away (walking). We decided that we would let the kids ride their bikes and we would walk. The kids had a blast. The girls swung on the swings and played on the play ground. The boys road their bikes on the trail. The girls joined the boys for a little bit as well. Kenner's just hung out and enjoyed the outside. I didn't think about sunblock...so needless to say Reagan and I are burnt to a crisp. Kennedy got a little sun on her face, but she isn't as bad as Reagan and I. My ears hurt so bad because my hair was up. I guess I learned for the next time LOL. We ate lunch and played for about 2 hours....It was tons of fun!

The Birthday Girl...

Today Reagan is 3. She was so cute this morning...She woke up at 6 am and went down stairs to watch Barbie Princess. I asked her if she wanted some breakfast and she told me, "Mommy...I want opcorn!" That is how she says popcorn. I was thinking to myself noway you need to have breakfast, but then I remembered it is her birthday so whatever the birthday girl wants she can have. This will be a memorie because it won't happen again LOL! I told her it was her birthday and then I asked, "How old are you?" She said, "I three. Mommy Reggie 3." Oh my little girl is growing up. We are having her party this Saturday. It will be fun. Matty Mo is coming up and he gets to stay all next week for his Spring break. Mom is so excited.

Happy Birthday My Big 3 Year Old!!!

Venting about Potty Training...

Ok I seriously give up LOL. We started potty training Reagan in January and she did so awesome with peeing. When it came time for the other, it just wasn't so good. We were fine with that, we just figured it would take a little longer. We would work with her and like I said she was doing great for the most part. She was 100% with the peeing. Well, a couple of weeks ago she just started peeing all over my house and her bed every night. She did this for about a week and I was so sick of it so I just put her back in diapers (as bad as I didn't want to). Now I can't get her to do anything! She pee's and takes her diaper off right away. She does the other and she does the same thing and then there is a mess. Can I tell you I want to kick her bum every time, but instead I just say, "Reagan how come we don't go potty in the princess potty?" Mind you she just laughs and ignores me or changes the subject. I am really going to go crazy!!! What do I do with this situation? I don't mind her being back in diapers, but I want to be able to clean it up from there not all over my house. This is why we put her back in the diapers to begin with was so we wouldn't have it all ove the house. Someone HELP!!! Give me advice LOL!

Potato Salad Recipe...

It makes quite a bit, but this is all we have left from the BBQ and after Nate got a hold of it. It is his fave.

Ok what you need is:

3 lbs of Potatoes (about 8 Medium)
6 hard boiled eggs; chopped
3 celery ribs; chopped
6 green onions; chopped
2 medium dill pickles; finely chopped
1-1/2 cups of mayo
1/4 cups of dill pickle juice
4-1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1 teaspoon of celery seed
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper

Ok what I do is put the potatoes in a BIG pot, cover with water, bring to a boil, then I cover them and turn the heat down to a simmer for about 20-30 min. Let them cool. Peel them and cut them however chunky you like your salad. Cut up the celery, onions, your hard boiled eggs and your pickles. (I use good pickles in this because they are what gives this flavor, I think). Put all of that in a big bowl while you mix up the sauce. In another bowl put your mayo, pickle juice, mustard, celery seed, salt and pepper then mix together. Pour over the potatoe mixture and mix well. Regrigerate for at least 4 hours. I like to make it the day before, but I just put the dry stuff in a bowl by itself and the wet mixture in a seperate bowl, put them in the fridge over night; then the next morning I mix them together; then I put it back in the fridge til we need it.

We love this recipe in our family. Try it and let me know what you think!

Neighborhood BBQ...

Last Sunday someone put a flyer on our door for a Neighborhood BBQ and it just said to bring your own main course, plates and utinsels, drinks will be provided...Bring a side or dessert to share with your neighbors (something like that). I made some "Potato Salad" and some "Chocolate Chip Cookies." (If you want a really good recipe for potato salad, the one I have is awesome). Anyway...we all met in the middle of all the units and talked, we let the kids play. It was really kind of fun. We see eachother at church and stuff, but we are all so to ourselves...this is what we needed. Now it will be nice to pass them and actually know there names. I think Nate really enjoyed himself...he just got right in there and started up some of the conversation (it was kind of shocking to me). He isn't usually the one to do the talking. I was the one sitting in the corner with our girls. It was different for me to see Nate enjoying himself and meeting people because I am usually the one pushing us to meet new people and get out in the social world. I think we are switching roles. I am just so use to being in my house with my girls and keeping to myself lately. Anyway it was alot of fun. I am glad we went because I was thinking about not going.
