Back to School...

Matt started 7th grade and I think he really likes it... at least he sounds like he does. I sure wished I had a picture of him on his first day of school, but this was taken when he came to visit just a couple of weeks ago...

Reg's started her second year of preschool... she LOVES it.

Can't wait til next year when Kennedy can go to preschool. She is so bummed when Reg's gets out and goes into her class. She wants to go so bad!

Church Without Our Daddy...

Oh how I don't miss this day... they looked so cute and I thought to myself I can handle this, but oh who in the heck was I kiddin. I thought this is going to be a good day... we were ready on time for the first time EVER and they were being so nice. If I wouldn't have had to teach I so would have left. They were so Naughty! I thought I could handle it, but apparently not. Since this day we had to revamp our Sunday plans and some days are better than others... ;) A lot of the times we have had to sit in the foyer, but at least we have made it right?!?

Just Us Girls...

This was our first lunch without our daddy! We were really missin him at this point, but I guess this is the first of many! We better get use to it ;)
Any time I ask the girls where they want to go and eat they always pick Subway. We had a good time together and I realized it isn't going to be so bad to be with just the kiddos while Nate is away. People keep asking me if they can take the girls so I can have some time to myself, but I have realized I need them around me all the time because they are a peice of him and when they aren't around me I have a harder time with him being away.

Dora, Dora, Dora the Explora...

We were at K-mart for what ever reason... I can't remember why anymore, but when we walked in the door the girls spotted this huge Dora and wanted to buy her. Obviously that wasn't going to happen so we just took some pictures. They love themselves some Dora!

Daddy Missed His Plane...

Today has flew by so fast I am still in a spin! Nate left for SLC and then off to Fort Benning GA tomorrow.

Our day started off with taking our kiddos to Auntie Carrie and Uncle Shane's so Nate and I could listen to one of the Quorum of the 12 speak to us. There were a couple of different speakers and they all touched on things we needed to hear and know... it was nice to actually listen and understand the speakers at Church... lol! Afterwards Nate's family had his favorite dinner for him. We all got carried away talking and the next thing we knew we were all flying to get to the airport. We didn't make it in time and Nate missed his flight. What a great first impression right!?! Nate called his recruiter and told him that his Dad would just drive him up to SLC... so needless to say it all worked out! As for the girls and I... it has been such a long day the girls went right to bed and I am so tired... I am going to bed right now!

Private Traveller's Going Away...

We had a great time and it was so nice to have all of the Traveller's here at one time!

Our Disneyland Surprise...

As you all know Nate is leaving August 16th for Basic Training. Dennis and Diana (Nate's Parents) decided to give us a going away/graduation gift and send us to Disneyland for 4 days and 3 nights. That's right... DISNEYLAND!!! When we found out we were floating on a cloud for days. We decided that we would just take the girls because Matty had been sooo many times and it wouldn't be very much fun for him to be squished in the car between two car seats and having to hang with the little girls doing all the little kid stuff. Josh and Meg (Nate's Little sister and husband) got us the nicest room at one of the Marriott's. We decided the trip was for the girls so we would let them set the tone and we would have no expectations. We wanted it to be as stress free as possible. We did Disney and California for 2 of the days and went to Newport and Hunnington Beach the other 2 days. The girls had a blast. While we were at Disney and California... we had lunch with the Princesses. The food was pretty dang good and I would have to say worth every penny because we got so much accomplished...lol!

"I Tough As Nails!"...

So Reagan and Kennedy were takin a bath and Nate came home early. I was gettin them ready for the day and I was going to meet one of my girl friends for a Spoon Me (I was so lookin forward to it too). Anyway, when Nate walked in the bathroom the girls got all excited and Reg's tried to get out of the tub when all of a sudden she slipped and hit the edge of the tub. She didn't even make a peep, but I saw it as her head went back. Nate did too and he just said, "Lish be calm." I almost got sick and I felt a little woosy. Needless to say we took a trip down to the ER where they gave her a shot and stitched her up. She didn't cry one time through out this whole thing. When she was all done she looked at her dad and said, "Daddy... I tough as nails!" I am so thankful for the great job they did. It was a pretty clean cut, but man was it sick and wrong. I could see the bone when she did it.

Reg's you are one tough cookie!

We are turning off our Internet for a short time and hope to be back in December or January... So don't forget us! I might be able to post here and there from other sources so check back every once in a while. I will keep checking all of yours as I love to see how you are all doing!

Our little Reg's looks so grown up with her short hair. I was so scared to cut it, but now I wish I would of done it a while ago. She loves it and she lets me do it every day. She tells everyone she looks like Dora!

Private Traveller...

I can finally breath knowing what Nate will be doing... his job title is Field Artillery Surveyor. He won't be directly in harms way if he is to deploy. I am at ease knowing what the plan is for now... so he got his job picked and he leaves August 3 for Basic in Oklahoma. He will be gone for 4 months without us :( When he comes back it will only be to get us and to take us to an Air Force Base (we won't know which one until half way through Basic) for some more training. We will only be there for 2-4 months and from there we will be stationed somewhere... once again, we won't know until half way through Basic where we are going, but I will keep everyone posted! So until then...

David Archuleta & the After ParrrTay....

I have one of the GREATEST friends in the ENTIRE Universe!!! Last week my girl friend, Yesi called me to tell me she had an extra ticket for the David Archuleta Concert, but she wasn't for sure if her son was still wanting to go or not. I thought to myself... I won't get my hopes up, but there is a possibility that I am going, YEEEAAA!!! Anyway needless to say he decided not to go and so she took me... YESI I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK... LOL! I had an absolute BLAST! (Can you tell I don't get out a whole lot)? We then went to the After Party and I had sooo much fun. I got to meet David Osmond and his cute pregnant wife. They were totally the sweetest people!

Taylor Vaifanua from American Idol Season 8 (How totally cool is that). She was so kind as well.

We met David Archuleta's Brother (Daniel), his Father, and David's band. It was a Blast!
