Discouraged and Frustrated (Venting)...

I have not been feeling myself since even before I got pregnant with Kennedy. I had planned on having a full physical after I had her because I figured if there was anything really wrong with me while I was pregnant they would find it with all the tests and things they do. Anyway I have had a couple of spells where my anxiety gets the best of me and I get dizzy and nausiated. So I was planning on making the appt. Going to the doctor for us is a little hard because we don't have insurance so it is a planned process. Well, I started having some episodes with my heart and I got a little concerned and just thought nows the time regardless we have to sacrafice and I need to go. Well, I make the appt. and the receptionist asks if I need a yearly, I told her not really I have a Doc. I go to. She said whats bringing you in? I told her I had some concerns with my heart and I want a full physical. They were 3 weeks out, but I made the appt. anyway. Well, I go, they call me back...she weighs me...we go in the room and she says your here for a pap right? I was like well, is that part of the physical? Yea, she said with a look on her face like she didn't know what I was talking about. She had a piece of paper in her hand and asked me what brought me in...I told her what was going on as she wrote it all down. She told me what I needed to do to get ready for the Doc to come in. So I get all ready and the Doc comes in...she asks me what brings me in and I say, "I just haven't been feeling myself since I had my baby." She says, "How old is baby?" I tell her and I tell her my main concern and what really brought me in was how worried I was about my heart. It went in one ear and out the other. She asks me if I take any medication on a regular basis. I tell her no. She asks me if I take some medication I had never heard of and I say no what is that. She beats around the bush for a minute and tells me it is an anti-depresant. I tell her no. So she does the yearly, gets done and tells me I think you are depressed. I kind of lauged and I said, "Really...you think I am depressed?" She says, "Yes I do and I think this medication will help with your energy BLAH BLAH BLAH!" I was so confused what just happened. I didn't get any of my questions answered about my heart and I realized they didn't even take my blood pressure. What the heck just happened. So she says I want to check your Thyroid and CBC. I thought to myself my OB just did that and told me it was normal...he's the one who told me to go to my Doc and get a Physical. I should of told her that, but I was so confused on what just happened and how nothing I talked about was addressed. Mind you after my OB did those tests and then told me to go to my Doc for a physical I didn't and now still don't have a Doc for myself. I went to this Doc because she was refered to me...the person who refered her feels awful, but how did she know. (Please don't worry about it because it is not your fault)! So on my way down the hall to the lab I was thinking was that a physical? Don't they check your cholesterol and other things....Don't they take your blood pressure. I was so confused. I get my blood done and walk down to my car and then really start thinking I just paid 294.00 for that and I didn't get any of my questions addressed about my heart. I still couldn't figure out how come they didn't even take my blood pressure. I was really frustrated and confused. The more I thought about it....I realized I was a new patient and they didn't even ask me my medical history. What the heck just happened? Now I am so upset. My heart is still concerning me and I can't afford to go back to another Doc right now. So once again I have to wait until I can go to a Doc and I have no idea who to go to. So if anyone knows a good Doctor here please let me know. Thanks for listening to me vent.

Ok can I say CRAZY!!!

My Husband is a big fan of the show "Cops" and he likes to watch "The First 48", actually he really likes any kind of investigation type show. Any way....last night as I was cleaning (mind you it was late, like 11:00ish) everyone was asleep in my house. All of a sudden I heard my husband whisper, "Alisha come hear!" His voice was kind of excited so I got a little nervous. We sleep with the window cracked because our room is on the second floor. I was coming up the stairs and he had his finger to his mouth to be quiet. So I walk up there and he tells me that he got woken up to someone pounding on the neighbors door.....he says, "look outside!" So I go over to the window and sure enough there are F.B.I and Sheriffs (I don't thing I spelt that right) banging on there door. There were like 5 guys just in the front. You could see the peoples upstairs lights on, but they were not answering. They banged and I mean banged on the door for like 30-40 minutes. We could see a few of our other neighbors looking out their windows too. Finally the porch light flicked on and someone opened the door.....the officers rushed in screaming, "Search Warrant!" It was the craziest thing I have ever seen right in my neighborhood. Really for the most part all of our neighbors have little children and are the nicest people, we really thought this was a great neighborhood. Someone in the Neighborhood actually planned a BBQ for tomorrow night so we know what the talk of that will be. I'm not going to lie....I new something was up with these particular neighbors, you could just tell....they had to much traffic. Nate was intrigued to be able to see that live LOL. We talked and Nate and I think it is now time to move. This is just a little to close quarters for us. I am paranoid as it is and I am just freaked out now because they didn't even get the people that live there, just the new guy that has been staying there for about a week now. Anyway I sure hope they take care of that situation.

My tired GiRLy...

Saturday night we all went to bed really late. Well, about 5:30 am Nate heard Reagan calling for us (I didn't hear a thing). When I got up at 7:30 I noticed a light on downstairs and I thought it was kind of weird. As I came down the stairs this is what I found....

She got a Pink balloon at her cousin's birthday party and it had to go with her where ever she went. So you can see the string of the balloon. She still has the balloon and it is about dead. I don't know what she will do when it pops. She can't understand why it doesn't float anymore. She just keeps throwing it in the air and says, "Balloon get up there!"

I really like this Quote...

"Never let a day go by without holding family prayer and family scripture study. Put this, the Lord's program to the test; and see if it does not bless your home with greater peace, hope, love, and faith. I promise you that daily family prayer and scripture study will build within the walls of your home a security and bonding that will enrich your lives and prepare your families to meet the challenges of today and the eternities to come."
Elder L. Tom Perry
This is a challenge in our family, but we are striving everyday to be better. It totally makes a huge difference. Our girls are so little and we use to say "Oh they don't understand whats going on, we'll do it when they are older." Well, Reagan is going to be 3 and believe it or not she learns a ton. It is something we all need to do even if you are a family of 2 (just you and your spouce). Hope this encourages all of you.

Kate's 1rst Birthday...

We just got home from Kate's first birthday (our little niece)!! She was so cute with her cake. My sister-n-law is so creative. The theme was a "Teenie" party. She served little mini hamburgers and little mini hot dogs. She had the buns special ordered to fit them. She served little chips (they were those little 100 calorie pack chips). The desserts were even little mini's. She had mini cupcakes, mini eclaires, and mini cream puffs. It was really cute! We had a chance to catch up with all of the family for a minute (as if we don't see them all the time LOL). No it was fun. I wish I would of remembered my camera. Anyway...
"Happy Birthday Lil Miss Kate!!!" We love you tons!
Miss Meg you did an awesome job despite getting sick.
Now you need to rest and get feeling better!!!

Reg's trying to avoid bed...

I had put little "Miss Reagan" in her bed and thought she would go to sleep. I came down to clean the kitchen and coming down the stairs was little "Miss Cinderella"! I tell you it took everything I had to not laugh. She will do anything some nights to not have to go to bed. She said, "Mommy I Cinerella, I pitty. Mommy take piture!" Reg's you are my little "Princess"! I love you!!!

Reagan posing for "Pitures" as she says...

"Mommy, I take you piture ok!"

Reagan is a little mad at me in this picture because we were in a hurry to leave and she wanted her pictures taken. I have been taking so many pictures lately, I think she is just loving it a little to much (LOL)!

This is her after she stopped crying so I could take the picture and we could leave.
It is like pulling teeth to get out of our house and be somewhere on time ever since Kennedy was born! I hope I get a little better at balancing our situation around here (LOL)!!!

Reagan hangin from her Bed! (Naughty)...

Reagan is all wound up from our walk. She has no desire to go to bed. We thought by taking her on a long walk and she ran most of the way, she would get tired and want to go to bed. Boy were we wrong. What do you do to tire them out?

"Mommy look at me, I naughty!" This is what she said to me when I came up the first time and saw her. How do you not laugh at some of this stuff. It seriously takes everything I have not to. She's mommy's little monkey.

Our long walk...

We took the girls on a walk hoping to tire Reagan out. She has just been one big ball of energy lately and not wanting to go to bed this week. Kennedy was just hanging out. She just loves to be outside.

The walk worked on one of the girls. We barely got this girl fed, she was so tired. All she did was sit in the stroller. The other one ran the whole way and is Hanging from her bed. Whats a mom to do with all of her energy. You've got to love her because she keeps me young and on my toes 24/7!!!!

Our Vegas Trip...

We took a little trip to Las Vegas on Saturday because Fred and Geneva came to Las Vegas to visit her Mom, Dad, and Brother. We picked up Matty Mo and we all met for lunch. After lunch we went back to Barb's house to meet Geneva's baby, Buster. He's a cutie. Billy (Geneva's Dad) was so awesome with the kids. Reagan usually takes a while to warm up to people, but she just thought he was great. She had her "Cinderella Doll", Billy was holding her and told Reg's that she bit him. Reagan said "No Cinderella no bite." She thought he was so funny.

This is aunty "Beneva" and Reagan. Reagan found a stuffed dog and wouldn't put it down.

This is Geneva's husband "Freddy"! He is such a nice guy. We approve Fred (LOL)!

Matt was asking Billy some questions about the dogs. I wish I would of taken a better picture. Billy is just so awesome with the kids. He will be an awesome grandfather someday. I look at Billy and Barb as adopted grandparents to my kids...I don't know if they would feel the same (LOL). I don't know if they are ready to be g-parents.

Barb, Luke, and Nate are chatting about Luke's plumbing job. Luke doesn't like Service calls (LOL). Reg's was sharing the dog toys with Kennedy. Kennedy was just ready to eat and go to sleep.

After our quick visit, we were on the freeway ready to go home and decided to take Reagan to Bass Pro Shop so she could walk around for a minute. She was tired of being in her carseat. I forgot to take my camera in the Shop, but she loved the BIG fish tanks. She wanted to go "wimmin" (swimming) with the fish. After Bass Pro Shop we decided to grab a Ben and Jerry's. On the way over Reagan fell asleep.

When we got to Ben and Jerry's she was ready for some "Ceeme" (cream). Daddy shared with Kenner's, boy did she love ice cream. I decided to share some ice cream with Reagan. She told me "Mommy no touch it!" Then she finally shared it with me.

Hey guys.....We wanted to say thanks for the quick visit. I wish we could get together more often because I sure miss you Geneva. Also thanks so much for lunch, it was great. Billy, Barbara, and Lukey we love you all tons. Take care and Keep in Touch!

Mom's Sick...

Saturday I was pretty sick. I started not feeling so good on Thursday, but Saturday it hit me like a bomb. That left Daddy to do everything. He did an awesome job, but when he took the girls for a walk, he just let Reagan pick what she wanted to wear. She had on pj's, some long sleeve shirt, church socks and dress shoes. They were gone for over an hour. Reagan was so excited to tell me all about it. She loves to go for walks with Daddy! Thank you so much Nater, I needed a nap.

This is what you get when dad picks out clothing. LOL!

They also decided to take some pictures of mommy not feeling so good.

Slumber Party...

The girls and I are just waking up. Reagan decided she wanted to sleep in the living room last night. I wasn't feeling well, so I wasn't going to argue with her. I just made her a bed on the floor and put Cinderella on so I could take some Nyquil. She didn't wake us up at all, she slept down stairs all by herself. She had to have her "Ariel, Founder, Bastian" as she says. (Ariel, Flounder and Sebatian) right next to her head. Kennedy is the happy girl this morning. Thank goodness because mommy doesn't feel good. Off to rest.

Valentines Day 2008...

We just hung out at home and relaxed. I made Steak with Gorgonzola cheese, roasted potatoes and salad. It was nice and quiet. I am coming down with my girls cold so I thought I better take it easy. Besides to go anywhere in this town for dinner is crazy enough when it's not Valentines Day.

Reg's just got her new "cudder-me". We got her a new color wonder princess book. She was so jazzed. Daddy colored with her while I finished cleaning up our dinner dishes.

We got Kennedy a hippo ratte/teether. She was just ready for bed. She had enough today.

Grammy and Papa brought Reagan over a little "Areil" lego valentine. She loves it. It had to go in the bath with her and she had to have it right next to her to sleep.

Gram and Papa brought Kennedy some little people. She's not real sure about them yet. She just kept cheking them out. It was pretty cute.
